The Opportunity

The main role here is to maintain and develop excellent customer relations whilst providing technical support for client accounts. As part of the role, you will be issued with a company vehicle, hand and power tools and IT equipment with relevant software to carry out the necessary duties of your role.

Key responsibilities:

Maintain high levels of customer service through onsite attendance and remote technical support
Field service engineering work as required, mainly health checks and service calls
Ensure fault resolution is to Client satisfaction; ensuring the commercial impact of the account is upheld and shall be responsible for the management of and timely updating of fault tickets.
Onsite Service Engineering covering client sites as required
Traveling to Client sites (including Northern Ireland travel when required)
Site and event coordination and support
Preventative Maintenance calls as required
Rotation of client sites as required
Site surveys
Small works installations, including handover to Client
Attend the Head Office based in Northern Derbyshire/South Sheffield where necessary
Ongoing training can and will be provided in relevant fields

Based in company's office in Derby/Sheffield, the role is mainly field based throughout the UK. Salary circa £30k p.a. plus company vehicle and benefits

Your Skills and experience
The successful candidate will -

Possess a good technical knowledge of Electronics and Audio-Visual Systems and ideally Extron video, DSP and control systems
Knowledge of terminating audio, video, CAT5/6 cabling
CSCS and ECS qualified but not essential
Full UK Driving licence is required
Ideally, some rack building experience
