- The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join a successful AV & Digital Signage company as a hands on Project Manager.
You will project manage multiple projects by overseeing, directing and being the point of contact for a portfolio of projects from conception to completion, delivering on-time, to budget whilst optimising quality with minimum supervision. This will include undertaking some installation work yourself when required.
Fault-finding of audio-visual systems to a high level, under pressure
Preventative maintenance of client owned equipment
Networking knowledge to fault find IP integrated systems
Completing paperwork for each project ensuring comprehensive reports on work completed
Communicate identified faults in a clear and concise manner to our clients
Completing installations from end to end, on time and to a high standard
Build respect and profile for the business externally and actively bring in business
Ensure compliance with company procedures where appropriate
Demonstrates continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
Ability to run installations within budget and on time.
Possess a good underpinning technical knowledge of Electronics and Audio-Visual Systems.
Ability to plan and organise projects and schedule work.
Liaison with other internal departments, clients and contractors.
Ensure that the H&S files are in place for your projects and that safe systems of work are put in place.
Design systems in terms of their electronics, mechanics’ and optics to meet the needs of our clients, using proven technology and looking for new and interesting solutions to problems.
Developing product designs from scratch using AutoCAD and have the ability to present rough design drafts for client approval by ensuring product designs meet required safety and structural standards and have the required skills to present various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations.
Understand the contractual requirements of your projects.
Ensure that technical and drawing information is available and correct to allow others to perform their works in an efficient manner.
Have experience completing all written draft deliverable products into final deliverables as per the customers’ requirements these could be items such as O&M documents, configuration files, as built drawings and asset registers.
Based in South West London or Home Counties salary will doe and include benefits.
