The Opportunity

The Senior Operations Manager (Audio-visual) is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational, technical, and commercial aspects of audio-visual service delivery.

This position drives operational excellence, ensures high-quality service standards, and fosters strong customer and supplier relationships. The Senior Operations Manager will lead a team to deliver exceptional audio-visual solutions, maintain compliance with industry standards, and drive business growth through strategic contract management and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:-

Strategic Oversight:
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and profitability in audiovisual operations.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of service professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
Customer Relationship Management:
Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service, addressing complex inquiries, and resolving escalated issues.
Contract Management:
Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and execution of high-value customer contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with terms.
Supplier and Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, ensuring optimal terms, quality, and reliability of equipment and services.
Accreditation and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to industry standards and accreditations (e.g., AVIXA, CTS, or similar), driving continuous improvement in compliance processes.
Preventative Maintenance Strategy:
Oversee the development and execution of preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.
Process Optimisation:
Streamline operational workflows, leveraging technology and best practices to improve efficiency and service quality.
Risk Management:
Oversee the preparation and review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure safe and compliant project delivery.
Business Development Support:
Collaborate with the CEO and sales teams to identify opportunities for growth, including new service offerings and market expansion.

Based in Surrey, Salary is circa £75k p.a. doe plus benefits

Your skills and experience

Experience:
Minimum of 7 years in the audio-visual industry, with at least 3 years in a senior management or leadership role.
Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of audio-visual systems, emerging technologies, and industry standards.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic Thinking:
Strong ability to develop and execute operational strategies that align with business goals.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders, clients, and suppliers.
Problem-Solving:
Advanced ability to anticipate challenges, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement effective solutions.
IT Proficiency:
Familiarity with operational management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Accreditations Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of relevant industry accreditations (e.g., AVIXA, CTS, or similar) is highly desirable.
Customer Focus:
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and building long-term client relationships.
