- The Opportunity
This is a new, exciting role to build, manage and be a part of a skilled internal sales and account management team at a company supplying technology to the education sector.
After a period of your own sales and account management activity, you will then build a team responsible for keeping in touch with over 1,000 current customers, generating appointments for field sales, promoting new products and services and making direct sales.
Using the companys CRM system, you and your team will also be tasked with generating new business opportunities through cold and warm calling, and winning direct sales with new customers throughout the UK.
You will work closely with colleagues to innovate, create and test activity plans, before rolling out with team and individual targets. You will then ensure that these targets are achieved by you and your team by coaching, training, mentoring and motivating your team to succeed.
You will also work with marketing to ensure call activity is supported by promotional resources such as web content, product movies and more.
You will monitor the teams activity for quality and quantity and lead by example. In your own day to day calling activity, you will consistently demonstrate excellent sales skills and a strong work ethic.

Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will be a skilled internal sales team leader with a proven track record of success in an internal sales supervision/management role.
Ideally you will have experience of working with the public sector (Education) or selling technology solutions over the telephone.
More importantly you will be a successful internal Sales Manager who is looking for a career opportunity with growing and successful company selling technology solutions, primarily into the education sector.
You will have experience of setting targets for an internal sales team, both activity and revenue based. To succeed in this role, you must be extremely determined and resilient, with excellent people skills and the ability to influence customers and members of your team. You must be able to work on your own initiative. Training, coaching, mentoring and motivating are all key skills you use to get the best out of your team.
