- The Opportunity
As a Design Engineer - with CAD experience - at this state of the art Yacht and Home Automation company, you will be an integral part of the team, responsible for designing and conceptualizing audio-visual solutions for various projects. Your CAD expertise will be essential in creating detailed plans and schematics for AV installations. You will collaborate with clients, project managers, and technicians to ensure that our AV systems are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and tailored to clients' needs.
They are seeking a talented and motivated Design engineer to join the team and lead the successful execution of innovative projects that incorporate audio-visual and IT systems in yacht technology and Luxury Home Automation.
Key Responsibilities:
AV System Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Design custom audio-visual systems that meet client needs and exceed their expectations.
CAD Drafting: Create detailed CAD drawings, schematics, and plans for AV installations. Ensure precision, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
Technical Specifications: Develop detailed technical specifications for AV equipment, including displays, audio components, control systems, and cabling, ensuring seamless integration.
Aesthetics and User Experience: Pay attention to the aesthetics of AV installations and how they enhance user experiences. Create designs that are functional and visually appealing.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, AV technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs are executed according to plan.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to present and explain design concepts and CAD drawings, and make necessary revisions based on client feedback.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that AV designs and installations meet quality standards and align with client expectations.
Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest audio-visual technology trends and best practices.

Your Skills and Experience
Proven experience as an AV Designer with a strong background in CAD design.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and other design tools.
Strong understanding of audio-visual systems, equipment, and integration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, with a commitment to precision and accuracy.
Creative problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in AV design - specifically in Yacht and Luxury Home AV Automation.
