- The Opportunity
Our client offers a specialist service in creating impactful digital signage in retail, hospitality and corporate environments, including: Stadium LED, digital menu boards, bespoke retail displays, EOPS and touch-point ordering. Due to recent expansion, they are looking for a Senior AV Engineer to join their team in Reading.
Key responsibilities:
Installation of Audio Visual Solutions across varying environment as mentioned above.
Including Digital Signage, Touch Display, Projectors, Video Conferencing and more.
You will be based in the Reading office but be mainly on site. Salary is negotiable depending on skills, qualifications experience.
Overtime rate at time and a third; weekend cover rate at time and a half.

Your skills and experience:
Essential:
Experience within a similar role working to strict SLAs.
Experience installing AV Solutions such as: screens and projectors in meeting rooms and classrooms.
Knowledge of basic audio and signal transmission such as HDBaseT.
Excellent communication skills, able to use initiative and professionalism.
Have a working knowledge of digital signage and an understanding of networking and IP technology as well as other AV technologies.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Commutable distance to Reading
Desirable Experience:
Control equipment installation (AMX/Crestron/SY/Extron/Kramer etc.)
Rack building.
Basic programming
Survey Specification
SC Clearance highly desirable
