- The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a motivated and customer oriented Salesperson with a passion for music, movies and technology to sell home technology products from their prestigious showroom based in Dubai.
As a Sales Consultant you will be responsible for all retail sales and showroom demonstrations. Your focus is primarily walk-in clients and those who may be interested in smaller less complex systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being familiar with all functions of the showroom display and be capable of demonstrating every system in detail.
- Conduct compelling showroom tours for customers.
- Assess and understand customer needs, explain options to them, which involves providing technical description of products, as well as describe the functions and benefits of each
- Report to the Sales Manager on sales and sales forecast.
- Develop and update personal products knowledge and discuss with colleagues creative methods to sell products and services.
- Carry out formal presentation of products with training aids available, attend and assist in promotional trade or consumer shows.
- Perform problem resolution for all showroom equipment or report complex technical issues to the Operations Manager.
- Maintain strong relations with existing clients and identify new clients in order to grow the business.
- Be aware of competitive products and pricing in order to maximize sales opportunities.
You will be based in Dubai. Salary negotiable based on experience but circa £30k-£40k p.a. plus commission.
Your Skills and experience
You will have at least 1-2 years of experience in luxury goods or electronics sales and have excellent English (verbal and written) . You must be smart and presentable and have a passion for music, movies and technology. Understanding Linn, Naim and other high end Audio solutions and Home Theatre solutions.
Focused and committed to excellence you will provide excellent sales and first class customer service and enjoy working to achieve targets. You will be selling often to high net worth individuals and must be a good problem solver who is able to accurately assess customers needs.
Clients are from all over the world so good communication skills are needed as well as a passion for Hi-Fi.
