- The Opportunity
For the right candidate our client offers the chance to join a multi award winning specialist Audio Visual company and a recognized leader in both the Higher Education and Corporate sector. An excellent package is on offer, and they also offer and encourage ongoing training and development.
Job Purpose:
To proactively manage and grow business from existing higher education, public sector and corporate accounts and new prospect client base taking full ownership for relationship, this to include regular site visits and agreed response times for quotation / query resolution.
You will be responsible for achieving/exceeding revenue, margin, and service attachment expectations against target, ensuring client satisfaction and providing weekly statistics and reports on pipeline and opportunities.
Full technical support will be provided by their design team, this position will be responsible for ensuring sales and margin targets are achieved whilst client satisfaction for all sales and account management is exemplary.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Achieving targets and KPIs consistently as set by the management team
- Measuring and reporting the success of Opportunity and Win rates
- Achieve/exceed revenue, margin, and service attachment expectations against target
- Sales pipeline is accurate for weekly reporting
- Ensuring promoter score retention for responsible client accounts via customer satisfaction surveys
- Personal development is encouraged, and the company provides a budget to support this activity. Some international travel will be required for trade events, client visits or training activities.
Based in London or the Home Counties, salary is competitive to £65k p.a. plus commission. A company car with full maintenance or allowance for equivalent package is provided as is private healthcare, a generous pension scheme and the ability to enhance earnings by achieving agreed targets.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will understand the principles of marketing and features-benefits-solutions selling, be customer focused, desire to build long term relationships and have a proven track record in developing / selling integrated AV systems to the corporate, education and/or public sector.
You will need a comprehensive knowledge of installed audio-visual and unified-communication systems including display systems, audio systems, signal processing, conferencing, and control equipment.
Must have requirements:
- Highly computer literate MS office+
- Industry trained (i.e. QSC / Crestron / Poly etc)
- Clean or near clean driving licence.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully selling professional AV UC equipment and systems into the corporate, education and / or public sector(s).
- Practical knowledge of Audio-Visual systems, commercial realities, procurement, deployment, and maintenance.
