- The Opportunity
Our client has an opportunity for an ambitious Home automation installation engineer to work from their West London office covering mainly London and the Home Counties.
They specialise in high end residential projects, working on some of the most prestigious homes in London and further afield, therefore attention to detail and a desire to work to the highest standards is crucial for this role.
You will be required to perform the following tasks in your day to day role:
· Rack building
· TV speaker installation
· Data networking cable management terminations
· Home cinema installation
· CCTV installation
Strong electrical skills are desired, therefore the successful candidate can be from an electrical background wanting to move into an Audio Visual role. You must be able to follow documentation construction plans, be skilled in using power tools and IT literate.
Experience of Crestron, Lutron, KNX or Control4 would be ideal but not essential as training can also be provided.
Our client's showroom and office is your base but there is no fixed location of work as you will be working on sites / homes each day with most travel within the M25 and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK or abroad.
Based in Greater London salary is negotiable doe circa £30k-£40k p.a. plus travel allowance or company van, pension and performance bonus.

The successful candidate will be;
Confident in problem solving, troubleshooting and testing
Able to work independently or as part of a team, managing more junior installers
Professional and approachable attitude to clients, contractors and other members of the team
Good communication skills and the highest personal standards of presentation
Full UK driving licence
