- The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to work for a growing company covering Essex, installing and servicing Audio Visual Systems into Pubs, Clubs and Schools across the County.
You will be responsible for responding to service call jobs and installing AV, sound and lighting systems on site.
Your role will include:
Fault finding and rectifying issues with AV, sound and lighting systems at the client site.
First and second fix AV, sound and lighting systems.
Completion of service reports and ticket management on company systems
Advising the team on parts needed to complete works on site
Be an ambassador for the brand by communicating well with current and prospective customers
Being knowledgeable about the services offered by our client
Maintaining a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and clients to grow the business
Based in Essex - you will cover the County from your home base if preferred, salary is £35k p.a. doe. neg. plus van and benefits including health insurance and pension.
Your skills and experience
You will:
Be motivated, confident, and take pride in what they do.
Be an excellent communicator
Have previous experience in a similar role
Be familiar with AV, sound, lighting and video equipment
Be familiar with specifying what equipment and labour is needed for a successful installation.
Show attention to detail and good time management skills
Be willing to travel and stay away from time to time.
Be presentable, polite and punctual
Your skills will include:
Essential
Have at least 3 years experience onsite with audio visual, sound and lighting service / installation
Familiar with 100V and low impedance sound systems
Familiar with audio signal chains
Familiar with DMX signal chains
Familiar with analogue and HDBaseT video systems
Full UK driver's licence
Desirable
Experience with SoundWeb control systems
Experience with ShowCAD control systems
Good experience in Audio Visual is vital but training can be given on lighting solutions if needed.
Standard working hours will be 37.5 per week, with time off in lieu for additional hours worked. In very busy periods it may not be possible for time off to be taken in lieu in any given month, therefore overtime will be paid where necessary.
