to stay on top of the latest Crestron technology and industry best practices through a wide array of training classes, networking and sharing knowledge with other industry professionals.
The 2018 three-day training summits, held at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut in April and the Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam last week, were attended by over 1,200 premier Crestron programmers, of which 228 were Master Technology Architects, filling 42 unique training classes and more than 200 sessions. With many courses to choose from, participants could focus on their particular areas of interest.
“Crestron Masters is all about a community, learning and collaborating and having a good time. Crestron certified programmers have a common passion for our industry which took this event to the next level”, said Robin van Meeuwen, CEO and president of Crestron EMEA.
Rich Sasson, director of global technical services at Crestron, added: “ For the first time in 18 years, the Crestron Masters was expanded to include the top design engineers in the industry, offering the new addition of a Master Technology Architect (MTA) certification program. The new MTA certification for systems technology designers recognises the very highest level of expertise in Crestron system design and deployment.”
Nathaniel Mason, AV systems engineer at Environ Audio Limited, said: “The Masters give us a unique opportunity to network with other individuals from the industry as well as to keep up to date with the latest product and company announcements. Everything has been so useful!”
