Clevertouch, which has enjoyed sales in the US and Canada through a network of loyal local partners for the last ten years, will now launch the full range of multi award winning Pro Series, Plus Series and V Series to Canada and the US. Hickey has more than 20 years of AV sales experience with senior roles at Phonic Ear, FrontRow and Toshiba.
Simon Chidsey, international director for Clevertouch operations, said: “Since 2009, when Clevertouch was first to market with touchscreens in the UK, we’ve seen rapid growth in and beyond the UK. The strategy is to place local teams on the ground and our overall aim is to take 20% market share of the US interactive market. It is definitely possible with our dedicated Enterprise and Education products and expanded North American team now in place.”
Hickey adds: “It’s clear that the team behind Clevertouch has a passion and drive for innovation and technology. Having had operations here in the US over the last ten years, we believe the time is right to have US headquarters based in Austin supported by a local team on the ground to expand our US presence further.”
Clevertouch will be exhibiting at InfoComm for first time on booth N1958, launching the new Professional range of E-CAP for enterprise and high precision for education panels. The new integrated videoconferencing panel will also be on display, which introduces new ways to collaborate in the agile workspace.
