The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking for their 2nd or 3rd job role in technology sales and working from our client's showroom in London.

In the role of Business Developer you will support the growth of the overall number of trading channel partners. Acting as a sales specialist 100% dedicated to the brand and other vendors that integrate as part of an overall vendor based solution, this is an exciting and dynamic role that will put you at the forefront of a plan to take our client and this key vendor to the next level.

The purpose of the role is to function as the sales lead and trusted advisor in the UK market, acting as an overlay sales resource in the existing sales team. The role will be responsible for implementing local RTM strategies and tactics for the brand in the most efficient and effective manner, covering ‘Growth reseller partners.

Reporting into the Sales and Commercial Director, the role will be supported by the vendor, as well as Sales, Commercial and Marketing functions within our client's team, to achieve the proposed growth targets. Being able to work as part of a team is critical to the success of these growth targets.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Acting as the Product Sales Specialist for the UK market.
Own the UK Sales and GP Target within the aligned reseller partners and prospect partners.
Manage and Develop sales relationships for the vendor:
o Identify and engage with target reseller accounts.
o Influence and engage any external stakeholders that support resellers, such as Consultants and Installers.
o Set meetings with identified stakeholders to demonstrate the vendor solutions, and what this may enable or improve for the various stakeholders.
o Gain commitment to collaborate with key stakeholders to roll out the solution, using a structured approach and sales process.
o Manage the ongoing customer relationship and lifecycle.
o Function as a single point of contact for any inbound enquiries, engaging with relevant departments to facilitate communication, escalation and resolution of enquiries.

Attend events, conferences and networking events that support opportunity generation, market understanding and acceptance of this key vendor in both reseller partners and end customers.

Manage and Develop sales relationships with an identified list of Workplace Solutions focused resellers who need to be recruited, onboarded, and trained to sell and support the brands products, services and solutions.
o Identify and engage with key stakeholders to engage and accredit as Authorised Partner of product and services.
o As part of the wider sales team, foster an initiative-taking and coordinated approach to engaging with prospective reseller partners and selling the value of becoming a partner.

o Onboard Reseller Partners who show the appetite, engagement, and aptitude to become an Authorised Partner.
o Run through a pre-defined sales onboarding process with reseller.
o Train relevant reseller teams; primarily sales teams, but also potentially other stakeholder departments including marketing, technical and project management.
o Identify and manage opportunities and targets to collaborate on.
o Provide product knowledge, sales support and sales execution on identified end customer opportunities to ultimately drive prospects into customers.
o Function as the lead for all vendor enquiries utilising available showroom, remote demonstration, and in-person demonstration resources.
o Use our client's Central London-based Showroom to host resellers and end customers to demonstrate the solutions in situ, as well as build relationships, trust and rapport with contacts.
o With appropriate resources, provide remote demonstrations to resellers and end customers.

This role will require you to travel to showrooms in London and Leeds as well as customer sites. We anticipate this to be at least 3-4 days a week. Outside of this, the role will be home based. You will ideally live in commutable distance of London.

Salary would be £35k-£40k p.a. plus car allowance, commission and benefits.
