- The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a career-minded individual- who is passionate about their industry - to work for a global Technical Services company based in Derbyshire.
They provide an extensive range of products, services and solutions selling global support, hardware, software, audio visual/video conferencing hardware solutions including video conferencing systems and associated professional services.
You will sell our client's Audio Visual, Video Conferencing and other communication solutions to both their client base and new users and work with partners to sell through this channel.
Key Objectives:
This role will have a channel selling focus, so candidates must have a good Idea of this style of selling. Day to day this role Includes working alongside our Head of Modern Workplace selling our Modern Workplace (video conferencing and audio visual) services as well as our IT Support Contracts. Any additional training you require will be given as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• To build and manage a sales pipeline to achieve key objectives.
• To become fully conversant with our client's service offerings and to be able to sell these effectively to allocated accounts.
• Proactively follow-up on correspondence to progress opportunities
• Generate sales leads and follow up to raise product services and brand awareness.
• Generate weekly and monthly sales reports including but not exclusive to forecast.
• To Identify and sell additional services to the allocated accounts such as wider IT Installations, Multi- Lingual Service Desk and other service line that may be introduced by the company from time to time.
• Preparation of contract renewals, tenders, RFP's, quotes, scope of works, presentations with support of Internal Infrastructure
• To form Instructions and build relationships with Key Stakeholders to ensure they are aware of the service catalogue.
• Undertaking quote development as required
• Providing clients with ongoing technical updates and presentations as required
• Interfacing with Manufacturers and Suppliers as required for support, demonstrations etc.
• Providing strategic support across the client estate
• Maintain good communication with the Operations teams to ensure they are kept up to date.
Ideally based in commuting distance of the Derbyshire office, salary will be doe and neg. circa £35k-£40k p.a. plus commission and benefits.
Your skills and experience
• At least 2 years' experience of selling Audio-visual solutions and services and service contracts.
• Experience working in an IT Managed Service Provider (useful but not essential)
• Successful new business hunter with a history of selling generating your own leads and closing deals, though leads will also be provided.
• Preferably new business channel focused salesperson
• Organised and self-motivated
• Good communicator and can work well within a team.
• Able to adapt to the demands of situations.
• Able to work well In a fast-paced, changeable environment
