The Opportunity

The Sales Engineer (Technical Architect)will partner and assist in the demonstration, certification, proposal and implementation of our clients' solutions and help to develop project opportunities with dealers, system integrators and endusers.

You will work with the sales team to identify, develop and close opportunities and serve as the technical solution expert complimenting the sales team by providing technical guidance. You will partner on the design, engineering, delivery and optimization of company products and solutions while supporting all pre-sale services across all commercial and residential client applications.

Key Responsibilities

▪Pre-sales and project support of products and solutions for all staff, partners and customers through training, demos, solutions design and consultation.
▪Partner with business stakeholders, product development team, customer support team and sales teams to further enhance and optimize products and solutions.
▪Plan, design, implement and present training on all company products and solutions including AV network products through industry events, conferences and live training events.
▪Create and deliver highly technical and professional documentation, diagrams, presentations and effectively switch between technical leadership, pre-sales support and daily systems support requests. Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with HDBaseT and AVoIP services and functionality.
▪Close team interaction with all functions within the company and act as an interface to/from the market.
▪Support AV Network products, design dedicated AV solutions, provide demo testing assistance and on-site commissioning services.

Based in Germany or Switzerland you will cover both countries as well as possibly other international travel.

Salary is negotiable Euros 55k-65k plus car allowance of Euros 5.4k p.a.

Your skills and experience

The successful candidate will have:

▪BSc Degree in associated IT/computer science field and/or IT Relevant Certifications and CCNA
▪Hands on experience working with HDBT Extenders and Switchers, video encoders / decoders (MPEG, H.264, JPEG2000) and Control Solutions
▪Strong technical background in video switching, extension, and video streaming technologies (RTP, MPEG-2, H264) over LAN and unmanaged IP networks
▪Experience of network engineering and network protocols (Multicast, IGMP, 802.X, QoS)
▪Must have proven experience on product training with field sales teams and partner networks
▪Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, fluent in German, English and optionally one other language
▪Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
▪Proven track record and experience in customer facing technical support
▪Understand the needs of a sales channel, being customer driven
