- The Opportunity
Due to their continuing expansion and success, our award winning global client is looking for a Product Manager to join their marketing team in Derbyshire.
The ideal candidate is an analytical team player who will be responsible for leading a team of high performing individuals who own the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.
Working in this marketing role you will be interacting directly with customers, the engineering team, distributors, partners, and the operations team on a daily or frequent basis.
As a Product Manager youll be responsible for aggregation and structuring of market requirements on products, helping prioritize product requirements for different products and working with the management team to develop the overall product roadmap.
This role is also responsible for the articulation of Unique Selling Points, competitive analysis, development of application notes, and user case studies for the products, and in general supporting the sales and marketing effort with product knowledge.

Job function:
Developing details of required product and software feature specifications.
Ownership of products through their entire lifecycle.
Competitive analysis, and competitive positioning of our client's products.
Delivery of Product and Roadmap presentations to customers and key stake holders.
Support sales and pre-sales in ongoing activities.
Support development of product marketing literature.
Support development of application notes and case studies for their products.
Working with partner companies to enable sales of products in specific application areas.
Provide general support in sales and marketing.
Support for the delivery of trade shows/exhibitions around the world.
Responsibilities

Mentor employees to help them achieve individual team objectives

Your Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently build relationships with colleagues and customers important to the role.
The role requires a good understanding of Computing Hardware, Audio-Visual technologies and IP Networking in particular.
Other Skills required:
Good customer interaction skills.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Knowledge of IP Networking technology and its use, preferably in relation to Audio Visual systems.
Good knowledge of PC hardware and AV systems and its use is highly desirable.
Hardware and/or software engineering background or education.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Good organisational and administrative skills.
Rich in initiative and energy and a good team player.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Consulting
Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
