- The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Technical Product Support Administrator to join their team based in St Albans.
The successful candidate will work within the EMEA Product Management team and will be responsible for administration information management working closely with Marketing, Operations and Sales.
The role will also include close collaboration with European Sales Managers as well as the US Product Management Team.
Excellent communication skills are a must, and you shouldnt be afraid to show personal initiative and a willingness to learn hence achieving the desired outcome for customers/the team.

Experience specific to the AV industry would be a distinct advantage but is not essential. Some occasional travel to customers, trade shows and onsite installations in both UK and Europe form part of the role and a flexible can-do attitude will help you succeed.

KEY TASKS
Assist the Product Management Management Teams to update and maintain the product roadmap from corporate to EMEA Sales, Marketing Operation teams.
Help and support the PM Team to create product plans including life cycle management: -competitive analysis, industry tracking.
Assist the PM team to plan and carry out product launches
Produce monthly product reports to Snr Management
Be responsible for all aspects of Product Information Management organisation
Assist Regional Sales Heads to Study markets, identify gaps and evaluate new opportunities: -
Assist in identifying new and enhanced products working closely with manufacturing/engineering/marketing as well as external suppliers
Assist with the preparation and execution of product launches and regional strategies in cooperation with regional sales teams.
Work with Regional Sales heads to collate data support in producing reports to Snr management.
Support sales teams in strategic meetings and enquiries to understand the customer requirements/needs to find solutions utilising standard/existing products if possible
Support marketing where required to produce sales promotional material, Sales Tools and marketing communications.
Grow and maintain oeM manufacturer relationships in the EMEA.
Ensure regular contact with oeM Product Managers.
Assist in gathering market share information to share with the team.
Work with Management to Identify and manage cost saving activities to ensure maximum profitability
The role is based at our client's EMEA HQ in St Albans, and they offer flexibility in terms of Hybrid working on completion of initial probation/training period. Due to the time difference with the parent company, there will be a requirement to work outside of normal hours on occasion however that would be kept to a minimum.
Salary £25k-£30k p.a. plus excellent benefits.
Your skills and experience
Educated to A level standard or higher (or equivalent)
Possess the ability to deal with the deadlines and pressure that comes from customer facing roles
Possess the ability to communicate across cultures, language, and business hierarchy
Experience of using CRM Packages
MS Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
Full driving licence
Administration
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Professional AV experience is desired but not essential as full training will be given
Experience in Administration and/or Internal Sales, support
Experience using a complicated ERP system such as SAP, IFS or similar
