<p>This is an opportunity for a Senior AV Events Technician to live in France (or Switzerland) and travel the world with this Global Events organisation.<br />
Your tasks will be to ensure the installation, the running of the material and the dismantling for corporate conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions, shows etc. You will be responsible for maintaining quality levels and standards according to the company’s ISO 9001 certification.<br />
You will work closely with the team to validate the technical choices required by clients, ensuring efficient and cost effective solutions are used. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be a team player who makes things happen and keeps calm under pressure!</p>
<p>Your Skills, Qualities and Achievements</p>
<p>You must have excellent technical knowledge of AV systems; ideally in corporate and event applications, with up to date knowledge of the latest AV products, including sound systems, projectors, video conferencing systems, video coverage, simultaneous translation systems  etc.<br />
You will be a problem solver who can provide creative solutions to technical issues with an emphasis on the requirements of the end-user. As a senior technician you will work as a leading member to lead a team and your ability handle stress would be appreciated.<br />
Excellent communication skills are required and you must have a valid driving licence and be open to travel worldwide. (Europe, Asia and Middle East). Ideally you will have an EU passport and will also need a visa to work in Switzerland.<br />
You will be required to live in Switzerland or France (close to Swiss border at Geneva and a lower cost of living) and be fluent in French and English.</p>

As Senior Custom Install Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on varied and challenging audio visual, security and home automation systems, from client brief stage, site survey and pre-sales through to design, design development, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance and support. This will require liaison with clients (developers, contractors and high-net worth individuals) and liaison with other professionals working on the project, including technical sales, AV systems designers, installers, programmers and commissioning engineers. You will also supervise works done by the engineering team, as well as schedule design and installation work and oversee the procurement of required equipment and materials. Preparation and monitoring of project budget is also under your control. It will be your responsibility to ensure compliance with main contract. Must have a strong understanding of AV solutions, including multi-room AV, home automation systems, home cinema and home security systems; their design, installation, programming and testing. Ideally you will have an excellent understanding of AV systems integration with IP networks and existing IT systems. A strong understanding of the capabilities of control systems is essential (such as Crestron, AMX, Lutron, KNX, Control4, Universal Remote Controls &#38; Relux). Some design capability with AutoCAD on AV systems for pre-sales/tender designs would be an advantage. Must have the ability and presence to liaise with clients at senior level, external consultants and project directors. Must be confident on-site and in an office and be IT literate, with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook; knowledge of Microsoft Project would be an advantage. <p>This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded salesperson to progress their career with a<br />
technically innovative and growing organisation as Technical Sales Advisor. Working in this predominantly customer facing position you will be interacting directly with customers on a daily basis and supporting the sales team, to both continue sales growth and maintain customer satisfaction, providing efficient pre-sales support and building customer relationships</p>
<p>The ideal candidate for the position will have experience in a sales environment (AV or IT would be ideal) and a good knowledge or interest in technology. Those with engineering or IT accreditations will be at an advantage.</p>

<p>Your role will include:<br />
• Responding to customer enquiries, producing quotations, providing technical responses and making referrals to distributors<br />
• Providing relevant documentation and information to customers<br />
• Developing long term customer relationships, addressing minor issues quickly and developing understanding of customer accounts<br />
• Supporting development of training material, datasheets and other documentation<br />
• Helping maintain our client’s CRM database<br />
• Clarifying customers’ order requirements, providing pro-forma invoices and communicating changes in delivery schedules</p>
<p>Salary is negotiable circa £25k -£35k  with excellent career prospects</p>

<p>You will be a self-motivated person with sales experience who is looking to progress their career.<br />
You will have good knowledge of PC technology as well as excellent organisational and both written and verbal communication skills. You will pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all you do and have effective problem solving skills as well as excellent customer service skills. You will be able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.</p>
