This is an exciting opportunity for a professional AV installer looking for a career. This role offers the opportunity to receive extensive on-going training and development to build your skill set in a wide range of areas, with the opportunity to specialize your development further down the line. Part of this on-going training will involve you keeping up to date with the latest technologies and products in the AV market.</p>
<p>As an Audio-visual Installer you will be working as part of a small team installing integrated AV systems in corporate and commercial environments.</p>
<p>Your role will be very varied, challenging, and will genuinely provide the opportunity for substantial and rapid self-development. Your role will develop quickly; how quickly will only be limited by your performance.</p>
<p>Salary negotiable dependent upon skills, experience and potential.</p>
<p>You must be based in Central London (Zones 1-6 on London Underground)</p>

You MUST have:</p>
<p>• At least one year’s experience in installing AV systems with a UK AV company.<br />
• A full driving licence and full UK working rights.<br />
• Experienced in terminating a variety of AV cables<br />
• The ability to communicate very clearly and efficiently both to clients and members of the team.</p>

<p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Audio Visual Salesperson with people management skills to work for a well established and successful technology business based in Birmingham. Your role will be to lead a team of sales support and internal account managers for the audio visual side of the business.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities:</p>
<p>•    Lead a team of audio visual internal account managers.<br />
•    Support the sales and technical teams.<br />
•    Work with management on future progression and strategy of the AV business.<br />
•    Manage given set of accounts, specific product category or Sales Specialist<br />
•    Provision of pricing and accurate formal quotations within the agreed customer and Departmental SLA’s.<br />
•    Provide interface to customer contacts, branch sales teams and Enterprise sales teams.<br />
•    Assist in the generating of sales via support to the sales teams and participating in Sales Support Incentives.<br />
•    Preparation of Sales quotations with accurate and complete documents including, but not limited to pricing, supplier pricing and customer order for handover to Administration for processing.<br />
•    Liaison with internal departments to facilitate the progress of orders through to install process.<br />
•    Management and implementation of Customer specific special bids<br />
•    Management of support and maintenance contract renewals.<br />

As an AV CAD Draughtsman, you will utilise AutoCAD to produce 2D and 3D engineering drawings for integrated Audio Visual systems in both commercial and residential settings. These AV systems comprise a range of technologies, including control systems (such as AMX and Crestron), LCD displays, touchscreens, projectors, audio systems and video conferencing systems, as well as associated cabling, switching infrastructure and racks. Working with the in-house AV Engineering team, you will produce 2D and 3D room layouts, rack layouts and system schematics. You will also produce concept drawings and layouts for tender purposes, as well as “as built” drawings. You will have input into system design, with occasional site visits for surveying and project management purposes. You will also produce system specifications and kit lists in conjunction with design engineers, reporting to the design manager. This is a fast paced technical role requiring you to work on several project simultaneously, prioritising your time as required. You will work with technical and non-technical colleagues, as well as liaising with external partners and customers. The primary function of the role is the fast and accurate production of high quality technical drawings.</p>

    <td><p>The Opportunity<br />
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lighting, controls or Custom Install salesperson to work for a leading manufacturer selling to the Residential systems channel via Custom Installers, architects and specifiers.</p>
<p>Your role will be to grow and support this business by converting sales leads and finding new opportunities to increase overall sales. You will also help in educating your customers by training in relevant products and systems.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:<br />
•    Day to day management of residential systems accounts<br />
•    Investigating potential new accounts via CEDIA channel and project tenders.<br />
•    Partnering relations between the dealer network and electrical contractors, specifiers and developers so that projects are well supported<br />
•    Working closely with the specification team on residential systems projects and seeing them through to being won using the correct channel.</p>
<p>Basic salary £40k - £50k + excellent car allowance and benefits package.</p>
<p>Skills, qualities and experience</p>
<p>You will be an experienced and successful salesperson working in the Custom Installation and/or lighting industry with a network of contacts in the residential sector. You will have excellent presentation and communication skills, be computer literate and technically competent.</p>
<p>Ideally you will be a graduate with an electrical background and another European language in addition to English would be a bonus.</p>
