| Job Information | The Opportunity Working within a team of sales and technical professionals, your role will be to generate new business and manage existing customers, advising on and selling Audio Visual maintenance contracts- from a small amount of equipment in a school to an entire video conferencing solution across multiple sites for a major corporate customer. There will be a combination of account management and new business development in this role, involving extensive cold calling, objection handling and closing the prospect to a sale or arrange a meeting for larger requirements. You will also use your time talking with customers to fact find about their requirements, selling an appropriate maintenance solution or passing on this information to the technical team who will help to prepare more complex proposals. Your Skills, Qualities and Achievements Must be an accomplished business to business sales executive. Experience of selling maintenance contracts for IT, Audio Visual or similar products and solutions, over the telephone is essential. Knowledge of video conferencing, boardroom and classroom AV solutions, digital signage and projectors would be an advantage. To succeed in this role, you must be focused on achieving your target through provision of a good service, extremely determined and resilient. You must be able to work on your own initiative and without supervision, reporting to the sales manager who will not always be in the office.
