Audio Visual Technical Sales Account Manager

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audio Visual Account Manager with strong technical skills to manage this leading company’s accounts in Higher Education as well as developing new business in this growing marketplace. Ideally based in the Yorkshire or East Midlands.

Your key responsibilities will be:

•    To effectively manage your accounts to ensure that market share, sales and revenue targets are achieved
•    Interface regularly with your customers to promote sales across the company’s range
•    Uncover new opportunities for high end AV/VC projects and ensure successful tender bids are achieved
•    Ensure you are technically up to speed with high end systems to enable you to discuss solutions professionally with your clients and potential clients

Salary negotiable circa £30k-£35k p.a. with £50k-£60k OTE + company car

Yours skills, qualities and achievements

You will have a proven track record within the Audio Visual marketplace with a good network of contacts within Universities and higher education networks. You will be technically adept and will be hard working, team oriented and a good relationship builder, who is able to develop new business as well as manage accounts to produce sales and profits on a consistent basis. You will have effective communication skills, both verbal and written. A good problem solver, you will be professional in all your dealings with people both internally and externally and have excellent presentation skills.
