The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a leading AV Events supplier as Video Project Manager.
The role of Video Project Manager is to supply account handlers and other project managers with specialist technical advice and assist with quotations for projects. In addition to this the Video Project Manager will be expected to work on video specific projects independently, providing a full service to clients. When onsite the Video Project Manager will be responsible for the video team, this is to include both client’s and freelance staff.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Networking:

* Successfully install and terminate CAT5, CAT5e and CAT6 Cabling; successfully patch cabinets, install Network switches and make active connections.
* Install associated containment; install wireless systems.

Your key skills, qualities and achievements

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2-5 years, verifiable experience as a full-time Audio Visual Installation Technician. this candidate will be proficient in cable terminating and soldering, wall and ceiling mounted displays, projectors and projector screens. the company’s installers are multi skilled to a high standard with regards to rack installation and management, therefore experience of Data Installation and working with CAT5, CAT6 and Fibre is also mandatory. An element to this role will also include the ability to take on basic stock management, job preparation and job surveys.

You should have a good knowledge of LAN and WLAN, Network Design and Implementation, Network Troubleshooting and Network Hardware Configuration and be proficient in using Power Tools and associated materials and containments.

Ideally you should hold Certificates in installation of CAT5e, CAT6, AV Systems SMART and Promethean and have a good understanding of AV installation, construction techniques or structured cabling.

You must be able to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines with knowledge of Health and Safety rules. A full valid driving licence is essential with use of a personal vehicle required at times (mileage paid) as some travel is required in this role.

Your role will include:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced specification salesperson in the Home Automation marketplace to work for a leading company selling Lutron lighting control systems, AV Systems and Blinds. You will work through Architects, Specifiers and Designers to ensure your portfolio of solutions is quoted in new builds and re-furbs both residentially and commercially.

Reporting to the Company Director, your role will be to sell the company’s range of Lutron home automation systems on a design, supply and install basis, Lutrons complete lighting control and electrically Operated Blinds and Curtains will be a major part of your requirement, but will also include our client’s vast range of both interior and exterior bespoke window coverings.

Field and Office based covering London and South East you will be required to deal with refurbishments and new build projects from start to finish. This is top end solution led selling with an average project at circa £50k+

With your ability to network through relationship building, you will be required to create your own leads in the pursuit of new business, you will be the point of contact for the client and have the ability to walk them through the whole project at any time. Your year 1 target will be circa £300k. Excellent marketing and company reputation ensure incoming leads too.

Based in London, Essex or Herts you will cover London and the South East. Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience circa £30k-£35k with uncapped commission giving OTE of 60k+ plus car allowance, mobile phone, laptop etc.,

Your skills and experience
