As an experienced Sales Executive/Manager, you will report directly to, and have the full support, of the Managing Director. You will be required to grow our client’s revenue and profits by gaining new business as well as increasing current accounts. Your main duties will be:-

* To contact leads and new clients and secure business. (50/50 for leads/self generated)

Knowledge of the latest AV solutions and equipment is essential, particularly useful would be knowledge of the latest audio (speakers, microphones, amplifiers) and conferencing products (audio and video) utilised in systems in the corporate and public sector spaces. The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced specification salesperson in the Home Automation marketplace to work for a leading company selling Lutron lighting control systems, AV Systems and Blinds. You will work through Architects, Specifiers and Designers to ensure your portfolio of solutions is quoted in new builds and re-furbs both residentially and commercially.

Reporting to the Company Director, your role will be to sell the company’s range of Lutron home automation systems on a design, supply and install basis, Lutrons complete lighting control and electrically Operated Blinds and Curtains will be a major part of your requirement, but will also include our client’s vast range of both interior and exterior bespoke window coverings.

Field and Office based covering London and South East you will be required to deal with refurbishments and new build projects from start to finish. This is top end solution led selling with an average project at circa £50k+

With your ability to network through relationship building, you will be required to create your own leads in the pursuit of new business, you will be the point of contact for the client and have the ability to walk them through the whole project at any time. Your year 1 target will be circa £300k. Excellent marketing and company reputation ensure incoming leads too.

Based in London, Essex or Herts you will cover London and the South East. Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience circa £30k-£35k with uncapped commission giving OTE of 60k+ plus car allowance, mobile phone, laptop etc.,

Your skills and experience

You will be highly self-motivated with excellent sales communication skills and a proven track record in sales ideally within the AV or Home Automation market.

Experience in Lutron home automation technology preferable but not essential as full product training will be given. the successful candidate will also have:

*Design and Project management experience.
*Good presentation skills.
*A willingness to go the extra mile.

* Structured wiring

The ideal candidate will be an experienced CAD Draughtsman and have a good working experience of 2D AutoCAD. Audio Visual and/or broadcast systems knowledge would be a major benefit.

You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to liaise with both staff and clients alike both by telephone and in meetings, as well as being a good team player.

3D CAD experience would be useful as would AV Systems design and BIM.
