- The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to work for a global company selling AV Integrated solutions - in London and the South East predominantly - but covering UK as required.
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing the commercial goals within all market areas. For this purpose, you will grow a clear strategy and translate the goals into concrete sales and action plans. By actively searching out and closing new business opportunities via any valid method available today including telephone, social media and references.
You will use a professional and creative approach in identifying and optimising the direct and indirect customer demand and supplying and coordinating audio-visual solutions. You will follow the developments in the sector closely and advise on relevant new technologies. You will develop long-term relationships in order to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction and revenues.
Our client is a design led organisation with at least 5 company developed products not available anywhere else so increasing your opportunity to sell bespoke products as part of your solution and increasing your margin accordingly.
Based in the City you will be well rewarded with a basic of circa £30k-£40k plus uncapped commission (£60k-£70k OTE), car allowance and benefits as well as mobile, laptop and ipad.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will be a motivated and keen new business hunter with a 'can do 'mind-set. You will have excellent communication skills to negotiate and present the value add of our client to prospective new customers. You have some proven experience to be successful in a similar B-to-B commercial role.
Ideal candidate will be someone with a background in Telemarketing and 1-2 years New Business experience in the AV market looking for the next step.
A strong AV background will be advantageous.
You will also have a pragmatic mentality and be both innovative and flexible.
