- The Opportunity
This is a really exciting opportunity to join a market leading vendor of award winning control and collaboration solutions selling into the channel in London and the South East.
The role will entail calling on existing and new trade customers, end users, consultants and others as required in order to build a sales relationship and develop business. A high level of pro-activity is required and must be sustained, together with product demonstration skills and the ability to do basic AV system design.
The successful candidate will be expected to stay away from home as required and will be required to work industry trade shows such as ISE - both within their defined geographical area and elsewhere as required. Some out of hours working will be required as demanded.
Full driving licence required (please declare penalty points on CV), good physical health, some lifting required.
Ideally based in London/Surrey/Berks -Salary is extremely competitive to £55k and with excellent on target bonuses to £16k p.a.plus company car and a great benefits package.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will be an industry experienced sales professional with a demonstrable track record in delivering sales growth year on year.
You will have a good general knowledge of the AV industry (ideally with a good contact book but not essential) and ideally some knowledge of the IT channel. Your sales experience can be working within an AV dealer/system integrator or within a distributor/manufacturer or similar.
A strong general technical knowledge is required and whilst experience of our clients' specific products is not necessary as full training will be given, you must have some technical skills and understand digital signals.
This is a first line sales role with tough targets and will suit a real go getter who can work with end users, specifiers, architects and the channel developing short term as well as long term business and long term business relationships.
