- The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join a successful niche Audio Visual vendor with a passion for providing innovative solutions for their customers.
Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen within their Sales team. Working alongside strong talented people, the successful applicant will be involved in working with customers to provide a first class technical sales service.
Your role will include internal sales and support of customers as well as business development and opening up new distribution channels across Europe and other overseas territories. You will have a good working knowledge of Audio Visual solutions with strong technical as well as sales skills. Some external customer visits are expected to help train and motivate the distributors' sales teams.
The main responsibilities:
▪To understand our client's product range and selling AV solutions.
▪Maximise sales opportunities to achieve results with new and existing customers to meet and exceed sales performance targets in line with company objectives.
▪Primary focus on developing ‘key customer accounts to ensure yearly sales increase by networking and cultivating relationships for growth.
▪To provide both Pre and Post sales support.
▪Provide technical specification/solutions as required.
▪Monitor key accounts monthly sales target forecasts.
▪Manage accounts effectively by quoting, invoicing and finance management.
▪Assisting the department and wider company with general detail/duties.
▪To attend/assist with the set- up of exhibitions within Europe when required.
Based in Middlesex - salary is circa £35k-£45k p.a. plus benefits
Your skills and experience:
▪To be well informed and understand the latest technologies within the commercial and residential audio visual market.
▪Proven track record together with practical working experience within a technical sales environment in the AV Industry covering the commercial or residential audio visual market.
▪Experience of communicating at all levels for both pre and post sales.
▪Excellent problem solving skills.
▪Effective sales negotiation knowledge and expertise.
▪Basic understanding of IT and IT based control systems (advantageous).
▪Knowledge of HDBaseT System (advantageous).
▪IT skills to include Microsoft Office, Outlook, Sage Excel plus knowledge of Access would be advantageous.
