- The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an experienced AV distribution salesperson with strong IFP (Interactive Flat Panel) knowledge to work for this key distributor covering the South of England.
Your key responsibilities will include:
▪In conjunction with the management team develop a quarterly strategic and tactical plan that matches the revenue, profit, market share, and product sales needs of the company with the needs of the end-customers and channel.
▪Carry out own role in these strategies to result in sales, usually through a mixture of channel and end-user facing activities such as opportunity hunting, trade show attendance, and channel training.
▪Monitor and report ongoing progress on a regular basis
▪Develop existing accounts and open new accounts and work with them to achieve their goals and yours
Home based and covering the South of England, basic salary is circa £40k p.a. with OTE £60k p.a. plus car allowance.
Yours skills and experience
▪You will have a successful track record selling Audio Visual particularly Interactive Flat Panels via distribution channels.
▪Your relationship management and communication skills, both written and verbal, will be excellent.
▪You are able to relate to people at all levels and to groups of all sizes.
▪Commercially aware you will have good business knowledge and acumen.
▪Your key skills will include tenacity, time management. prioritising, planning and creativity.
▪You will possess good interpersonal skills, be able to work as part of a team but especially able to work proactively and on your own initiative.
▪You will be very IT literate with good technical awareness of products and solutions for the IFP and collaboration marketplace.
▪Ideally of degree calibre - though experience in this marketplace is more important.
