- The Opportunity
Our client is looking to recruit a Digital Signage / Audio Visual Commercial Operations Manager for their organisation based in West Yorkshire. They are looking for a reliable, hardworking, trustworthy individual who can work on their own or as part of a team.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a technical background within the Digital Signage / AV industry and at least 4 years of Commercial/Operations/Service delivery management experience.
Main tasks of role:
▪Manage each departments specific projects and requirements.
▪Manage and develop the workload project calendar and own it.
▪Use the existing internal resource as appropriate and develop relationships for outsourcing projects and labour.
▪Run and own internal meetings and report back to directors
▪Work with the installation manager to book/arrange, technicians, kit and transport.
▪Attend Client meetings to discuss and develop solutions for the client brief
▪Prepare quotes and pitch documents with (the Installation manager.)
▪Attend site visits and production meetings
▪Assess health and safety requirements and create risk assessments and method statements for each project.
▪Track the progress of each job and the documentation involved.
▪Manage any changes that occur during projects.
▪Work with the team to constantly update processes and creative ideas.
▪Manage relationships with key clients where there is an onsite presence.
Based in West Yorkshire salary is negotiable circa £35k-£45k plus benefits and excellent career prospects.
Core hours will be Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 17:30pm, however, due to the nature of the industry there will sometimes be the need to carry out work outside of these times.
Your skills and experience
Experience within the Digital Signage / Audio Visual industry in a technical role with 4 + years of experience in a Commercial/Operations management role.
▪Methodical, structured and self-motivated person with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
▪A well organised and calm approach to the job with meticulous attention to detail.
▪Wide experience of a range of audio and video equipment, digital signage and new technologies within the industry.
▪High level of computer literacy
▪Excellent problem solver
▪Excellent communication and client facing skills
▪Good with the written word and grammar
▪Enthusiasm, energy and a 'Can do attitude
▪Drivers Licence and ability to travel
▪Experience of working in SME around the UK where standards and working practices are heavily scrutinised
▪Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Visio, and other visualisation software
▪Experience of working with internal and freelance engineers
