- The Opportunity
Our client is a successful Audio Visual Events Hire company who are looking for a successful salesperson to develop their business throughout the UK but based in London/Home Counties.
The role will include selling -
Event management, venue selection, content advice and creation, event theming and design, set design, build and installation, equipment hire, sound design, lighting design, slide and video creation, speech writing, presentation coaching, event logistics and all aspects of bring an event from conception to completion.
For permanent installations, a similar set of services and activities with emphasis on AV systems design, sales, installation and maintenance.
Your target market will include:
▪ Blue chip and other companies organisations which organise:
▪ Business meetings
▪ Product launches
▪ Sales conferences exhibitions,and any other communal meeting activity, which requires support on a temporary (rental), or permanent (installed) basis.
Also the agencies that organise and are otherwise involved in these event activities and act as coordinators for the end users they serve. These will be:
▪ Marketing agencies
▪ Production companies
▪ Brand managers,
▪ PR companies for staging and rental activities
▪ Architects, consultants, interior designers and others who plan permanent AV facilities.
Our client has excellent support teams covering all aspects of event staging and rental, and permanent AV installations.
Based in West London the salary level is negotiable £35k - £45k p.a. with OTE of £70k -£90k p.a.+ benefits
Your skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have successful experience in selling Events, Hire and permanent Audio Visual installations across the corporate and enterprise marketplace and working with both end users and the third party agencies responsible for events.
You will understand the importance of building strong business relationships, understanding your customers' requirements and working with the technical team to produce first class results for your customers and our client.
You will not need to be involved in any project or technical work - this is purely a sales role so requires a hungry and well motivated salesperson who is keen to work for a market leader and expand their career.
